Vivian Caccuri
(São Paulo 1986)
Vivian Caccuri’s work creates interrelations among sound phenomena, architecture, public space, identity and imagination. At Princeton University she wrote her first book “Music is What I Make” (2012), published in Brazil and awarded by Funarte Prize of Critical Production in Music in 2013. Caccuri has a Master degree in Sound Studies at the Federal University of Rio and Visual Arts graduate at Univeristy of São Paulo. Her sound works and compositions have been broadcasted in radio stations such as Resonance FM (London), Kunstradio (Vienna) and Rádio Mirabilis (Rio de Janeiro). Among her main exhibitions are the 22º Panorama of Brazilian Art at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art, Brasil Arte-Música at the Zacheta National Gallery in Warsaw and is participanting in 2016’s edition of São Paulo’s Biennial.
