Lilian Zaremba is a visual artist, radio artist, scriptwriter and radio art producer, PhD researcher in communication theories, has been performing since 1997 where work explores different aspects of language and radio broadcasting associated with the sound arts. His most recent works: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n “<\/span><\/span>Radio Flash of Light<\/b><\/span><\/span>” (sound installation, Caixa Cultural gallery \/ 2008) “<\/span><\/span>Overheard: on Radio and Art<\/b><\/span><\/span>” (Radio Visual \/ Seventh Mercosul Biennial \/ 2009) “<\/span><\/span>Evasion<\/b><\/span><\/span>” (sound installation for the Breathing Project, Eva Klabin Foundation \/ 2010) “<\/span><\/span>The Absent<\/b><\/span><\/span>” for radio performance and dancer (Sequence Project Plan \/ Plan B 2011). “<\/span><\/span>Hertziana, galena codex<\/b><\/span><\/span>” (audiovisual installation in the Parque Lage, 2012). “<\/span><\/span>Emovere<\/b><\/span><\/span>” (film) in exhibition Things Carbonic, Wide Arts, Rio de Janeiro 2014.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n She participated in the series of sound art produced by Art-Rio – Fair Arts of Rio de Janeiro. 2014 – his work is presented by Janet el Haouli in the 10 International Biennial of Radio, Mexico.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \/\/<\/span> Glenn Gould in his Trilogy of Loneliness stressed the importance of isolation in the creation of a “creative trench.” Isolation, distance, mass entertainment and communication, could give birth to something without being previously contaminated. Interestingly, even in this “trench” the Brazilian radioarte became echo: in art galleries and their sound installations.<\/span><\/p>\n My path has been exploring new forms starting from this prospect incorporating other, to create their own face in radioarte and visual arts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \/\/<\/span>
\n When I started my master’s studies in 1997, I proposed a thesis on the radio work of Orson Welles and Glenn Gould. At the time the internet still in its infancy in Rio de Janeiro, my search for information was even a gold mining. Few people were engaged in radioarte. <\/span><\/p>\n
